There may have been many an instance of Salman Khan keeping journalists waiting but mediamen in Jaipur today decided to boycott a press conference of the actor when he did not turn up on time.
The Bollywood star, who is on a whirlwind multi-city tour to promote his upcoming movie Wanted, was supposed to speak to journalists after an interactive programme with disabled children.
The event was organised by a school for special children, in which Salman and choreographer-turned-director Prabhu Deva were treated to attractive group dance performances.
Though 43-year-old Salman was scheduled to meet the media in the same hotel immediately after the event, which lasted for over half an hour, he kept reporters and photographers waiting for over one and half hours.
This act of his did not impress the waiting journalists who soon left the spot.
Salman rushed to the conference hall after the boycott announcement but by then there was no one there.
The actor had to leave the hotel without promoting his film, which releases on September 18. Source
