Mimo and Niloy won super hero and super heroine crowns at the grand finale of the talent hunt programme ‘Fair & Lovely Super Hero Super Heroine’ held at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on Wednesday.
The first runners-up were Bashury as heroine and Sohan as hero while the second runners-up were Prema as heroine and Rose as hero.
Champions Niloy and Mimo received Tk two lakhs each and the first runners-up Sohan and Bashury received Tk one lakh and 50 thousand each.
The organisers gave the second runners-up Rose and Prema Tk one lakh each and the rest of the six participants Tk 50 thousand each.
A total of 12 finalists participated in the programme. The participants were Niloy, Eshita, Rose, Piasha, Mehedi, Prema, Sagor, Mimo, Sohan, Bashury, Imran and Shampa.
The heroes and heroines were selected on the basis of the numbers given by the judges and by votes of the audiences and fans.
Renowned actors Alamgir, Razzaq and Sohel Rana made the announcement of the six finalists. Director Sohanur Rahman Sohan, Moushumi, Bangladesh Film Development Corporation managing director Mamtaz-Ala Sakoor, NTV chairman Mohammed Mosaddek Ali, managing director Enayatur Rahman and Market Access Group chairman and managing director Sharif Shah Kamal Taj gave away the crowns.
Mamtaz-Ala Sakoor said at the programme, ‘The film industry has been suffering from the crisis of actors for a long time. This programme will undoubtedly help the industry by providing talented heroes and heroines.’ He further said that the drive against video piracy had been going on and they would continue the drive.
Noted singers Partha Barua, Bappa Mujumder, Rezia Perveen, Fuad, Mila and Shuvo rendered the theme song at the programme. Courtesy
